Check the school district regulation. If he moves out, that might end any child support obligation.

Ask the school what their requirements are. You may want to look at your child support order. Many say that you are entitled to support until the end of the month in which the child graduates from high school, You may be able to modify the order to say that if yours doesn't-but only if the child resides at home.

Assuming that your son is not disabled: At age 18 he will be an adult and can deal directly with the school. He will have to abide by the residency requirements of living within the district boundaries of the school he plans to attend. Unless there is an overriding fact not listed here you should not be required to fill out or sign any registration papers.
