Do I have any recourse for my REQUEST to the PM if they ignore me which is their normal procedure? If so what?

I submitted an online maintenance request on 12/9/15 for we have no hot water. To date we have no hot water. The Property Manager (PM) assigned a plumber on 12/9/15 where the plumber said they need approval from the PM to replace the heater. I called both plumber and PM on 12/11/15 and receive no ETA of a fix so I mailed a certified letter on 12/11/15 and the PM responded on 12/15/15 to schedule a plumber for 12/17/15 ( I requested plumber not to enter with a key and that was the date I was able to leave work to meet with plumber), the plumber came and said he has to order a water heater(I thought plumber was coming with a heater) which is now pushed to 12/19/15. I REQUESTED today via email a place to stay and/or compensation.

A landlord is required to maintain the habilibility of the dwelling. Lack of hot water is one of the issues that a landlord must repair within 14 days of receiving written notice or you may terminate the lease. I would strongly recommend you hire an attorney, or at least review NRS 118A.290 and NRS 118A.355, as the rules are fairly technical and strictly enforced. Many a tenant have tried to exit a lease and been deemed to have violated it instead simply because they didn't follow the rules correctly.
