What criminal stuff can a bad landlord get away with?

Can someone please tell me what RCW code it is that explains what a landlord is supposed to do if he/she wants to make a change in the lease agreement? My landlord rents to criminals and people with "violent tendencies" so if any of these criminal types she rented to harms another tenant, is the landlord liable for any injuries a tenant may sustain? She hasn't performed any management services in 6 years and I informed her in writing that I was criminally violated by another tenant 3 times but she didn't evict the tenant. Can I sue my landlord for subjecting me to a criminal tenant?

You should be calling law enforcement. If you landlord want to make a change in the lease it must be agreed to by all parties. If you have criminal complaint call 911 and it sounds like you do against the other tenants. A property owner who knowingly causes harm could be held liable but the intervening cause ( the bad tenant ) is a defense as I understand your question. Use the find a lawyer tab above to find a premises liability lawyer to help with your civil claim. Good Luck
