So I was involved In an car accident, and it incurred in Oct 2015. No one is even hurt even it's a 5 cars accident on the highway 710, CA. I just want to know if there is a time limit for police to file the police report, because it has been almost 3 month after the accident, and i still haven't receive anything from my attorney. Also I would like to know how to contact the police department directly. Thank you for answers.

I feel fairly confident that your attorney would not like you making independent inquiries with the police. Your attorney has a high interest in obtaining a copy of the report as soon as possible. I suggest you call your attorney and see if they have received a copy yet. If not, ask them when they expect to receive it. Let your attorney earn his fee.

I agree with the prior answers. Call the police department directly. Many departments allow online access to such reports so you may check into that also.

It should have been generated by now so feel free to contact the police department directly.

Just call the police department that took the report and ask if it is ready.
