I was involved in a tractor trailer accident about 3 yrs ago, i was 40 percent service connected at the time, i have had a 30 percent increase in benefits. I am now trying to get 100 percent disability benefits becasue i qualify. My left leg is about 1/2 inch shorter than right leg, this is causing my back problems suffered in the auto accident sever pain. My friend I see that the opportunity for any attorney to answer this question will expire in a few hours. First, thank you for giving service to our country. I think I speak for everyone who monitors these posts in thanking you for making personal sacrifices for us. Second, the reason you are not receiving responses is not because nobody cares...we do care. But your question is filed under "Military Law" and that is the body of law that concerns military discipline. Your question deals with VA benefits. I tried to edit the practice area for you but I see has no such practice area listed. There are attorneys who have certifications in VA benefits. I do not at this time. I do know that the Delaware County Courthouse has an office of Veterans' Affairs with some of that information. You can take a trip there and they should know the lawyers who practice in that area. A second option is to go to the Delaware County Bar Association electronic lawyer referral and there is a category for veteran disability. Search for an attorney that way. Philadelphia may have the same resources, but our firm uses the DELCO resources. I hope that helps. Would you please take a moment to give this answer a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down"? This will help me determine in which area of law to focus for legal guides and publications in our firm's newsletter.
