a friend lives on land that has no mortgage, property taxes are paid, she has lives there for 30 years, never married the man that owned the property. she has a hand written letter from him that the land was given to her by him for services rendered. He passed away a year ago, the property taxes have been paid by his estate no one has given her any notice to move or anything the question is what can she do if anything to have the property transferred into her name?
