I have changed the practice area of your question to Workers Compensation so that you can get attorneys that do that area of law to give you answers. My thought is ask your workers compensation attorney, and if you do not have one, get one right away. Good luck to you.

28% is a decent rating and is from an AME. Whether or not 28% is a good rating depends on a lot of factors. Please discuss it with your attorney.

That you have an Agreed Medical Examiner on your case, as opposed to a Qualified Medical Examiner, means that you are represented by an attorney. Without knowing any details regarding your injury and treatment history, it would be purely speculative for anyone affiliated with this web site to comment on if the rating is adequate. Since you have an attorney, consult with him or her regarding your question. Good luck.

If you sprained the pinky finger on your left hand, 28% is a hell of a good rating. If you amputated your leg at the knee, it's a terrible rating. In short, you haven' given us enough facts. You went to an AME. You can ONLY go to an AME if you have a lawyer, therefore, you must have a lawyer. Why aren't you asking your lawyer this question? He knows you, your case, the doctor, the insurance company far better than any of us here on ever will.
