I got married 04/17,/2015, and this week 01/19/2016 I found out my husband has been cheating with 5 people (I have document evidence w/pic's). I'm want to consider all options for ending my married. We we married in Las Vegas, NV and live in Northen VA. Which is quickest an annulment or Devorice and where do I need to file either to start the process.

Unfortunately, I don't think you will fit the very limited requirements for an annulment in Virginia and in order to get a divorce you would need to file a complaint for divorce and follow the process. I suggest you speak with a divorce attorney in your area to assist you. This is not something that is easy for people to do on their own.

You should file for a divorce. Since you have not been married for a long duration of time, there will likely be fewer issues to deal with regarding property and support. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend you speak with a lawyer. If you wish to go it alone, (notwithstanding my advice), you may want to check out the following link from Fairfax County Circuit Court. http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/courts/circuit/pdf/fba-h-53.pdf

You need to consult with a local attorney regarding divorce. Since you live in Virginia, Virginia law will apply in your case. The case will be filed in Virginia. You can find a lawyer through a lawyer referral service operated by a local bar association, the Virginia State Bar, or through .

As was noted previously divorce is likely your only option, but you would have to speak to an attorney for further confirmation as to whether there are any grounds for an annulment. Should you wish to prefer to file for divorce immediately, then you would need to have fault grounds unless there has been proper time for separation. I would highly recommend you speak to an attorney for at least a brief consultation to discuss this matter further. Many attorneys in the area provide a brief consultation either free or at a reduced rate. Good luck.
