On January 15th my wife had to call an ambulance for stomach pain enroute to the hospital the paramedic gave my wife an IV and morphine for the pain my wife was still in a considerable amount of pain and was moaning. the paramedic then said to my wife why are you moaning you already got your dope and accused my wife of being a "dope feen" my wife voiced her disapproval of the comment thinking it offensive, humiliating and possibly made as a racial remark being that we are African American and her and the medic exchanged words my wife was then kicked out of the ambulance on to the street at i believe approx 2 in the morning in a bad area in a low-no lit area with her IV still in and under the influence of morphine I had to pick up my wife who was now 20 miles away from home and take her the rest of the way to the hospital where she was admitted for over 5 days please help
If what you posted is true, you need to be speaking to a personal injury attorney immediately. Use the "find a lawyer" tab above to search for a good one in your area.
I put that rather generic answer in, as you have to enter an answer to edit the practice area. You posted without specifying a field of law. I'll reclassify it under personal injury so attorneys that practice in that field can see it and hopefully respond.
As my two other colleagues have stated, you need to sit down with a local attorney in your area for further evaluation and specific advice. To be candid, I cannot imagine that what you are saying is true.
I would consult an attorney immediately to go over in detail what happened and whether your wife has a claim, especially if the incident added to her injury. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It must have been a very traumatic experience.
