Getting a second ticket a few days later while under supervision violates the time period supervision says you must be citation free. Now, depending on the outcome of the second ticket, you could have two active moving violations on your record. A third leads to suspension of license if in the same year. Sec. of State Jesse White will write a letter after the second ticket if it results in a guilty and the letter will outline this to you. Use a lawyer and get the best deal possible on the rear-end ticket. Notify your insurer, too, because you'll want to give notice so you get an assigned lawyer through your insurance for the lawsuit.

If you are under 21, then 2 convictions in 24 months will cause a license suspension. A good lawyer can help avoid that for you.
