Contact an attorney and discuss your options. Your local attorney will know when its best to turn yourself in so your stay is just a couple hours, or not at all, instead of longer (if possible).

You should contact a lawyer. Typically, you call the clerk of court and request a date and time to appear and quash a warrant. I would bring proof that you were in the hospital. Witnesses and documentation would be your best bet. The court may be upset that you missed your court date. I would also have bail ready if you are arrested. You are also going to need to explain why you did not contact the court earlier to get the case continued. A lawyer may give you other options. You should probably call a local criminal law attorney for assistance.

Yes a lawyer can help explain, as well as try to negotiate a better resolution for you, so it is always a good idea. Over in Great Falls, Meghan Sutton is very good. Give her a call.
