Can I travel to US with my old employer valid VISA stamp and new employer petition details.

I came to US to to work for employer A on H1B with a petition/VISA/I94 valid upto Sep 2014. After the petition expiry I filed for extension and got my petition extended till Sept 2017. I went to India for a short vacation and got my VISA re stamped on the new petition which is valid till 2017. After reaching US, I moved to a new company. Now I am working for employer B and have the new petition valid (after H1B transfer) till June 2018. Now I am planning to go for vacation again. But due to the time constraint, I am unable to go to VISA consulate to get the VISA stamped with new employer petition. Is it true that old employer petition automatically gets revoked when a new petition is issued ? Can I travel to US with my old employer VISA stamp since it is valid(expiry) ?

I'm curious about the role an immigration attorney plays towards their representation when filing this petition.

You may try but it may or may not work. When the CBP officer finds out you do not work the same employer anymore it is upto him/her to decide whether or not allow you in. All the best.
