I woke up feb. 19 to find my car gone. march 3 I get a letter from the Marshal's that my license plate (which I got from the DMV) is registered to a person with a lot of tickets. the letter said my car was blocking a driveway and my registration is missing while I have evidence that I had registration and my car was not blocking a driveway so instead of booting my car and having this taken care of easily they booted and towed my car resulting in an expensive bill of $800.00

I would call DMV and get to the bottom of where and when these tickets were issued.

I would recommend that you click on the "Find A Lawyer" tab on and search for a Speeding and Traffic Lawyer. They deal with the DMV all the time and could probably make the job of getting your car back and clearing up the confusion very easy and cost effective. From what you've written, there appears to be some confusion at the DMV and a Traffic Ticket lawyer will be able to resolve that issue very quickly. Good luck.
