What can I do about my situation if the processing will exceed the one year extension?

I am needing some advice about what to do about my situation. I completed the forms and a biometrics appointment to remove Conditions from my green card. In May it will be six months since I submitted my forms I-751 and documentations and there has been no change in my case status. I am worried that if the processing exceeds the one year extention what can I do? I read about getting a stamp in my passport for an additional year, however, my passport will expire in June. I am also unable to renew my passport (from egypt) until papers are completed with the Egyptian army after my 30th birthday. Is there any solution to get another extension? When I call and talk with the uscis service line they tell me to just keep waiting.

You could make an InfoPass to your nearest USCIS office, and bring two passport-style photographs, 2" x 2" square. At the InfoPass, ask for a temporary document stating that you are a permanent resident. If USCIS agrees, they will take one of the photos and put it on a paper card form that shows that you are a permanent resident. Best wishes.
