What can I do if I did not change my address with USCIS ?

Business 3 views 4 answers
I'm a permanent resident since 2010. Not long ago I found out that all legal residents need to inform USCIS of every change of address within a 60 day period. Well since 2010 I have resided in 3 different addresses in the same city. What can I do now, should I go online and put as my old address the address I resided when I got my Green Card?

You are fine. Just make sure you report change of address within 10 days in the future.

The most important thing is to submit the change of address information now that you are aware of the requirement. As your old address put your previous address. Keep a copy of what you submit.

You should simply be able to update to the most current address at this point. It's basically a safeguard for both you not to lose important mail and for USCIS to be able to know your general whereabouts.

Now that know update USCIS asap and in the future if you move make sure to update USCIS with your address within 10 days of the move.
