Is my divorce recognized in Mexico?

I was married in the us to a Mexican national. We were married in Texas. We then applied and received documents thru the Mexican Consulate to prove our marriage and satisfy the Mexican government. It was called an aposhenza? I think. We lived in Mexico for a few years then I moved back to the US. I divorced him in Ma. 8 years ago.

You should ask an attorney in Mexico if the Mass Divorce Decree is recognized in Mexico. Best wishes.

The divorce may be legal in Mass but not in Mexico depending upon Mexican law. Not sure why it is important for you to have Mexico recognize it, but only an attorney in Mexico can answer your question

I have handled a divorce of this type. Mexico does recognize the US divorce, however, they may not always enforce the orders of the American courts.

Judicial reciprocity does exist between the USA and Mexico, so yes it will be recognized.
