What are the chances of my first offense DUI in Guam gets reduced to reckless driving, or better yet dropped completely?

I was arrested on Cinco de Mayo (5-5-2010) after a cop pulled into my complex (due to a citizen calling and reporting me as swerving and driving erratically) saw me trying to open my door to my condo with my keys, smelled alcohol on my breath. I then refused a breathalyzer and was taken to the precinct where I refused again, also refused to sign ANYTHING. Including being booked, so then I was detained. The next day I was seen by the magistrate judge, probation officer and released. This DUI is my FIRST offense. The judge then ordered the following stipulations on me: $2000 bail Curfew from 6pm-6am No alcohol No being in the presence of alcohol Weekly reporting to probation random drug alcohol screenings Surrender of US Passport

Without an experienced DUI lawyer to defend you the chances of a dismissal or reduced charge are not good. In addition to the criminal charge for DUI, you are also facing an additional license suspension for refusing the breath test (I think it is six months but I don't practice in Guam so I am not sure). Hire experienced DUI counsel now. DISCLAIMER- THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE AND DOES NOT ESTABLISH AN ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP.
