I am a Texas resident (U.S. citizen) and am working in Georgia as a server in a restaurant. I stay with someone in Georgia, but still vote, car registered and mail is sent to my Texas address. How can I avoid paying state income tax in Georgia since I am not a resident of Georgia?

You will need to file as a non-resident in Georgia and pay any state income tax due for income earned in that state.
