When I was 17 I had a failed surgical abortion, I now have abdominal pains and a 2 year old I can barely take care of. This was almost 3 years ago. I have paperwork. Can i sue?

There isn't enough detail in your post for anyone to determine if you have an actionable claim (and you won't be able to provide enough over an Internet forum), but you may have missed the statute of limitations to bring a lawsuit. You may want to get your records and speak with a medical malpractice attorney as soon as possible because if it's not too late now, it soon will be.

The statute of limitations in Arkansas for a medical malpractice claim is, I think, two years, or at least it used to be. But you should still speak to a malpractice attorney in Arkansas to make sure. Little Rock has some attorneys who specialize in malpractice cases. I'm changing the practice area of this question from "sex crime" to "medical malpractice."
