Can i be charged with perjury after being acquitted (found not guilty) on all charges at court-martial?

So i went to court-martial for some trumped up allegations. Now that I have been found not guilty of all charges, the legal officer(not a lawyer) of the command i work for, has taken it upon himself to conduct a legal review and subsequent fact finding. He is charging me with perjury. Is this even authorized? Doesnt a judge have to order an investigation into perjury? Shouldnt have that been done by the convening authority before he signed off on my paperwork agreeing with the judge? When did legal officers become lawyers and know the law better than actual lawyers? I need help!

Talk to your JAG officer now. You can be charged with perjury after being acquitted of another charge if they have evidence that you lied at the trial in which you were acquitted. If they can prove you lied they can convict you of perjury.
