My aunt passed away suddenly on July 31st before we had a chance to put her affairs in order. So she died with no will, but people were clear about her wishes. My savings account was mixed with hers due to someone stealing money from my account and now the "representatives" are saying I need to move quickly and I do not get my savings returned. Do I have any rights?

I assume that your Aunt was helping you with your finances because you needed help? And now that your Aunt has passed away without a Will you are being told you have to move (relocate) quickly and you are concerned because your Aunt's bank account was commingled with your money and now that she's gone you don't know if you can get your money? Did I summarize what you said correctly? You need to talk to your parent(s) and ask them to talk to the person who is handling your Aunt's estate. If you have any idea how much of your money was in your Aunt's account you should try to get a copy of deposits made by you or for you and ask for a return of those monies to you. There will be a person appointed by the Court to "close" your Aunt's estate. There will be a notice printed in the business section if the newspaper or you can call the clerk's office and find out who that person appointed by the court is. Your parents or you can write to him/her and send them a copy of your bank deposits and ask that those funds be returned. If the person refuses you have the right to file an objection to the closing of your Aunt's estate. Good luck to you!
