I went in to have a non evasive liproscopic vaginal history due to enlarged uterus that I was told was causing back pain and fibroids. We went to a hospital that specialized and was known for bloodless surgery and I asked my doctor if she was familiar with this surgery and she told me she had performed numerous bloodless surgeries and she would be prepared even though it would be little bleeding at all. I scheduled the surgery and after surgery my husband and I was told everything went well. Noone mentioned that I lost 1000 milliters of blood during surgery on a surgery that I was to lose 50-100mill at the most. No one mentiontoned this or check my blood count until I became systematic. My blood count was down to 17. The doctor then admits to us she was not familiar with bloodless surgery and that she did not prepare for the bloodless surgery even though all the equipment was there for her to utilize to prevent this situation. From your posting, it may be a better idea to speak with a med/mal attorney directly. Your description of the results of the surgery are not very clear.

You need to contact an attorney as soon as practicable to determine whether you have a cause of action. If you let too much time pass, you will not be able to sue.

You should seek medial care and get the best care you can. Then seek the advice of a medical malpractice attorney in Alabama as soon as possible. Med Mal cases are very difficult and almost always unsuccessful in Alabama courts. You should obtain as much documention and care as you possibly can and work closely with an attorney, as soon as possible. A 2 year statute of limitations applies to your claims.

I'm so sorry to hear about your injuries! You should continue to seek medical care and contact an attorney to represent you as soon as possible. I would need more facts to adequately give an opinion on the strength of your case, but it sounds like you have one.

I am very sorry to hear what you've been through. It is most important that you contact a lawyer to ensure that any statute of limitations which may be applicable does not lapse. Good luck.
