It's always best to call a lawyer in such a case. But, if you want to try to handle it on your own, in Broward County, the Department of Motor Vehicles office that handles DUI cases is located at 3708 W. Oakland Park Boulevard. They can determine your eligibility. It depends on your driving history, when the DUIs were and the length of your Court suspension. You may be eligible for a hardship after one year or if the DUI cases are old enough, you may be eligible now.

You would need to call the DMV, they are the ones who will tell you if they are willing to give you a hardship.

If you have two dui's you were placed on probation at one time. If you can find those documents they can help you find the Broward Safety Council which gives the dui classes. If you want to go to the courthouse at 201 se 6th street you can ask for a lifetime driving record and determine if the dui's were at least five years apart..if so all you have to do is take the dui course II which is expensive.. but you will never drive again until you do this class. Understand that getting the fees paid to the clerk to lift the suspension will also be required. One step at a time. I suggest bringing a book to the Clerk's office as they are extremely busy, but they have the information you need to at least pay the court fees and costs. Good luck
