What happens to my property?

I am facing eviction and I know that legally my landlord cannot move my property out to the street but has to place it in storage. Due to lack of free time, I work 2 jobs, I have not been able to pack my belongings into boxes. Since my landlord will have to pack everything will that deter him from placing my things in a storage unit?

If you know you are facing eviction and are not contesting it, then you should do your best to pack your belongings prior to leaving. Your landlord has to safeguard your property but you would be better off packing your property yourself in order to avoid a potential conflict with you landlord in the future.
