Will you take my case?

I had eyelids surgeries that have left me with eyelids that won't close, margins that are way off, tear that run down my checks, and neuropathic pain. I originally was sent to Mayo Clinic for tear blocked tear duct. He tried to sew mt eyelids together! I complained about the surgeon through the patient experience team as I was no longer able to tolerate the pain, and they refused to see for any further follow up care. The surgeon lied to the insurance company with regards to what he had done. There were numerous protocols that were not found followed. They have complete stonewalled me. They have left my life in a in shambles. I am now on long term disability, go to PT ever week, follow up with a pain specialist every 6 weeks, take several nerve medications and narcotics due to pain. I also follow up with a Opthamology. I think this physician should be held responsible for what he has done so know one has to go through what I am going through. Date of last surgery 7/13/13. Thank you for you consideration in helping me with this matter, Attorneys say I have a case, but know one seems to want to take on Mayo Clinic.

Sorry to hear this. While certain lawyers that you've spoken to might be reluctant to get involved, I think that your persistence will eventually locate a lawyer who is willing to "take on" the Mayo Clinic; but only, of course, if you otherwise have a meritorious legal claim. The rules of this forum require you to reach out to lawyers; lawyers are not supposed to reply to requests such as yours. I suggest you use the "Find a lawyer" feature to locate local qualified medical malpractice lawyers. Contact the lawyer(s) of your choosing, and request a complimentary consultation. I wish you the best.
