Can I sue this hospital? Is it a case?

Hi my name is Dontaijah, I was in the hospital for about 3 months I almost passed away. I had a daughter and I had a kidney infection. The hospital fixed it and I still had pain so they gave me pain shots with the needle directly in my thighs instead of and IV and my mother told them to stop the shots but they continued to give them to me and I grew big abscess in my thighs and had to get them cut open and everything went downhill from there I was eventually transferred. I'm just 18.

If the injection site was improper or there were sterility issues or problems diagnosing and treating the infections which caused significant injury then you would have a case. Local malpractice counsel can arrange for an expert to review the pertinent medical records to opine as to the standard of care and as to causation if damages warrant same.

Contact a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Assn that handles medical issues--they give free consults. Before doing that ask for a copy of your hospital record on disc. If they say "would you like it printed out?" say no--they will have to give you your electronic records on a disc for cost of the disc; printed out it a very hefty fee per page.

You need to speak with an attorney, not just rely on responses with your issue. Not hating on this system, it does great work, but medical malpractice is a highly technical field contingent upon many, many issues. You won't get a simple "yes" or "no" from an attorney here. Contact the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and let them know you're issue. You may be able to find representation on a contingency basis so to not have to pay out of pocket on the frontend. Good luck.
