Overstayed my 1-94 by 3weeks

I was in this month on official duty and overstayed my 1-94 by 3weeks. I am now back in my country and I have another official meeting in US in September this year. I am wondering whether they will let me it. My employer has written me letter explaining my overstay, will this help immigration to let me enter US AGAIN

Usually overstays for less than 6 months have little effect on your ability to travel. I would bring the letter from your employer explaining the situation and provide if it is requested. Sarah M. If U.S. Immigration asks for an explanation, then you should give the written explanation of your 3-week overstay. Yes, the letter will help and it is highly likely you will be allowed to enter the U.S. again. If you have any further immigration questions, contact our law firm for a confidential consultation. Good luck. Sincerely, Nikiki T. Bogle, Esq. You did not mention what visa you hold, is it multiple? The short overstay may not be a cause for too much concern, but be prepared for delays and all depends on how the immigration officer at the port of entry feels on that day. Safe trip.
