Do I have a possible case?

Three years ago I had surgery at a hospital. After surgery I experienced Serotonin Syndrome. I was out (almost coma type) for almost a day. After that I had issues with memory loss and concentration. Last year I had another surgery at the same hospital. I figured the first time was a possible mistake. After the second surgery I experienced the syndrome again. This last time was not as severe as three years ago. When I talked to the drs they did not seem to have any notes about the first instance. Does this sound like I may have a case?

Whether you have enough of a case to be worth pursuing depends on your permanent, tangible damages that resulted from the incident. Additionally, malpractice suits take years and a lot of money to litigate.

You should contact a Delaware medical malpractice attorney to discuss your case in detail. Determining whether a potential malpractice claim is viable is not something that can be done on this forum. Your attorney will need to order and review all pertinent medical records and possibly consult with a physician to determine if any of your treating doctors' care fell below the standard of care.
