On 1/23/17 I got a bad sinus infection I went to urgent care she gave me 875mg of Amoxicillin antibiotic. By 2/4/17 I finished all the medication and I was worst off then when I went to the other urgent care. So I left work and went to another urgent care and saw a Physician's Assistant, She Prescribed me with 2 Antibiotics Cefdinir 300 Mg and Clindamycin 300 mg. She advised me to take 5 pills per day between these two antibiotics. I advised this woman 2x that I had Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) and I am on a powerful Infusions that last hours and I wanted to make sure there was no interaction or anything. She said I would be fine, She wrote me off work Friday and said to return to work Saturday. By the evening I was sick as a dog I was having violent diarhhea every 20 minutes, I could hardly stand from the abdominal pain. My husband took me the emergency room, I was advised I had C-Diff an infection/inflammation of my colon due to these antibiotics. After my insurance was billed I now have a $2414.00 from the emergency room visit. I missed another 5 days of work which I am paid 80% of my pay when I am sick and I was in excruciating pain, Morphine helped. Can I sue her

Anyone can sue anybody! I'm not sure that your damages or cause of action would be worth your while in pursuing this matter. Hopefully you are now enjoying good health!

You have no viable claim. C-Diff is a reasonably foreseeable consequence of antibiotic therapy which was clearly indicated by your sinus infection. There was no negligence and there cannot be any recovery.
