Hello, What "US Citizenship"?? First your husband who is illegally in the country needs to obtain "Lawful Permanent Status" ("green card"), no easy task, and only 3 years later he can start worrying about applying for "citizenship". The fact that you are bi-polar, manic depressive, schizo, etc. is irrelevant and inconsequential to your eligibility (legal right, rather) to sponsor your spouse for "green card" - unless you were convicted from a "lewd sexual act with a minor" (not the case at all in your situation). All you need to do is prove the financial ability: have gross earnings of $20,000 and small chance for a household of two and $5K more for each additional "household member" or child dependent you may claim in your tax returns. And even if you do not currently have the financial ability on your own, not a tragedy, you will be able to enlist the help of a qualified "co-sponsor" who could be just about anyone...
