Business Questions 3 views 3 answers
I purchased one groupon coupon for massage and spa on dec 6, 2016. I was too happy to get that service and I started contacting service provider/Business in mid january. From Mid january to till date (March,18) that business never respond my call. I left so many voice mails mentioning that I need to set up an appointment for spa but business never get back to me. I am really stressed out now for this groupon service. I tried to contact groupon live chat many times. I just keep waiting and none join that live chat support. Finally I wrote email as well but didn't get response yet. Today again I tried to contact live chat and representative join that after long wait but after hearing my issue she just said that groupon value is non-refundable. After hearing her response I'm really freaked out and I said thanks for assisting me and I ended up that chat. Now, I want to teach lesson to groupon that they can't stressed out customer instead of relaxation. I want to sue on groupon for selling such coupon. Can I sue on groupon business? If yes, who is ready to to take this case? Provide your feedback.

You may be able to sue Groupon for false advertisement, breach, unjust enrichment, and other causes. It will depend on the expectation and responsibilities from the coupon you purchased, what the terms were and other conditions listed therein. Since you have come close to the decision, you should contact an attorney to proceed. Most attorneys will consult with you for little or no fees. In my practice, I will provide that initial assessment before going forward.

Groupon does not do a return if it is past a certain amount of days, but they do usually give a customer a groupon credit for the amount of the purchase. there is nothing wrong or illegal about that.

Yes. Please contact an attorney for a free consultation. I handled a similar cases for Living Social. Living Social eventually returned the customer money. In these sorts of cases, it is important to have an attorney represent you. An attorney may be able to resolve this matter without litigation and much cost to you.
