Me and my fiance were driving towards town and a crazy driver was riding my butt and he wouldnt let me get over in right lane to turn right because of the traffic. I finally sped up a little to get over and he followed me and when it camwe time for me to slow down to turn he rearended me. I called the cops and he filed a report. Later on that day i had to stop working and go to the hospital. My fiance and i both had neck lower back and hip injuries. We both are self emplyeed and have been out of work for 2 1/2 days. We are also considering going back to the ER tomorrow.

Your medical bills and other losses / expenses times 3 works in most minor accidents. However, you be better off have a local personal injury attorney represent you to ensure that you are properly compensated.

Sorry, but the prior contributor is off the mark on this one. Best to speak directly with qualified NC counsel. Good luck.

I respectfully disagree with the prior answer about medical expenses times 3. That is a long-held myth in the personal injury industry that there is a multiplier to your bills. Some cases are worth more than that, many are worth less, each case is unique and needs an experienced injury attorney to help evaluate and get a fair deal. As of today, there really is no reasonable offer you should expect to get as you are still injured and the total damages are unknown. You should complete your treatment before considering settlement options or at least get far enough down the road that you know what your injuries and expenses are. But I wouldn't go any further down the road before consulting with a car accident attorney. Good luck and best wishes with your healing and your case.

If you and your wife were injured in the crash I would suggest obtaining your medical records (both of yours) and consulting with a local personal injury attorney. Unrepresented persons are typically not taken as seriously. Continue to treat with your providers to resolve your injuries.
