Will The Category Listed On My Green Card Change When Renewing After Divorce?

I have a 10 year green card which is expiring in a few months. The category stated on my card is E19 which I understand means spouse of a priority worker. We have been divorced for several years now. I am wondering what the category on my new green card will be upon renewal since I am no longer a spouse?

Your divorce will not change the category under which you were issued the resident status. Hence, you new 10 year resident card will contain the same classification.

How many months is a 'few' ... if more than 6, I recommend filing for naturalization. As my colleagues have stated, the category on the card won't change.
