I had a miscarriage in January and i went to the hospital twice once when they told me i was having a miscarriage and after i passed everything, the hospital did a ultra-sound and they said every had passed out. I could not work for a week, because of the amount of pain I was in, they didn't give me anything to help me pass they fetus or placenta. I wasn't given any papers regarding the fetus i gave them on my visit i wasn't mailed anything, they took my fetus and all I retrieved was expensive medical bills after.Flash forward to March i had been bleeding all month and i told my doctor about the bleeding and he ordered me to have an ultra- sound done. My doctor told me that there were remains of blood and issue in my uterus from the miscarriage. My doctor told me they should have done a D&C when they saw i was having a miscarriage. He admitted me to the emergency room that day to have an D&C. 4 hours later the ER doctor said that he didn't want me to have the D&C because he didn't want to put my body through extra stress. I still need too have a D&C which is a surgery. I missed a week of work because of the hospital visit.

Damages may preclude going further. Consult local malpractice counsel to arrange for an expert to review the records and imaging studies to determine if there was a departure from accepted practices and if damages resulting from same justify the expense of a malpractice case.
