We own a bar/restaurant and our competitor next door and their staff often comes into our business and tries to lure our customers over to their business. This has hurt our business.

It is difficult to answer your questions without further information. If people from a competing business are physically coming into your place for the sole purpose of luring away your customers, you need to speak with a local attorney and ascertain if there is a possibility that they can seek an injunction or restraining order against these people. Rest assured you will have to have all of your proof in order, as the burden to have a court grant such a remedy is high. Perhaps a cease and desist letter from local counsel would be helpful. If you can't find a WY lawyer here on , contact the WY Bar Assn in Cheyenne, as they have an excellent referral program.

The simplest way to stop this immediately is to ask the Sheriff for a no trespass notice to the offending parties that are doing this to you. Once the people are served, they are subject to citation and possible arrest for trespass. You can also petition for a restraining order and later reques a prelimiary injunction if you can prove that their conduct is irreparably harming your business.
