My fiance fell in the kitchen because of a leak in the ceiling and I want to know should we contact a lawyer?

Leak in the ceiling in kitchen and we had no idea it was leaking overnight and it seems that people upstairs are having work done on their apartment from all the noise yet no one came down to tell us of any problems so my fiance falls on this water in the kitchen and he is hurt. What should we do?
You should absolutely contact a local personal injury attorney. Most personal injury attorneys offer a free initial consultation. At the very least, you can protect yourself from making any mistakes by reaching out to someone who handles these types of accidents.
I'm sorry to hear about your fiance's accident.
To answer your question - your fiance may have a claim for the personal injury damages he suffered. Whether it makes sense to hire a lawyer largely depends on the underlying facts and circumstances, as well as the extent of the injuries your fiance suffered.
As the previous responder indicates, most law firms (including mine) that handle these types of claims offer free consultations. If you and your fiance would like to discuss in greater detail, feel free to give me a call directly at 919-235-3824.

It is always good to contact an attorney.
The attorney you will talk to will want to know several things:
1- Whose kitchen was it?
2- Where did the water come from?
3- How long was the leak there?
4- Who or what caused the leak?
5- How did he fall?
6- Was he holding anything?
7- was he aware of the leak or should he have been aware of it?
-- there are other questions.
Whether or not your fiancee has a cause of action against anyone who may have been at fault will depend largely on the answers to those questions and other questions.
I hope this helps-
