My Tenant Is trespassing after eviction How Do I file charges?

My tenant did not return my keys after eviction..he has moved out..but continues to return and enter the property even though I posted NO TRESSPASSING.. he has vandalized and stolen items from my home I live over a hundred miles from the property but I want to file charges on him anyway..should I call the local police where the property is located.. or just go down there in person..as I don't live close he is being vindictive and destructive..he was evicted for not paying his rent...and now is taking his revenge... Thanks

File a police report in the jurisdiction where the crime(s) occurred. If you're complaining about what he did at your house, file a report in your town for that. If you're complaining of what he did to the property, file a police report in that town for that damage.
