Rescind or Cancel a Filed Declaration of Fact?

Business 3 views 1 answers
My friend is trying to annulment with her ex-husband I'm a deposition for my friend because ex-husband told me that "He wants to get a marry with her, so he can take green card." I told my friend that your boy friend says like this at that time. I wrote Declaration of Fact for her, but i want to rescind or cancel a filed declaration of fact now because it was 6 years ago, and i feel I'm not sure about my memory. I called my friend's lawyer and he wanted me to talk with my friend. I don know why. they already submit my letter to Immigration office and court. How can i do with this?

Your memory was fresh when wrote the declaration. If you are deposed, you could testify that you no longer remember the facts (if that is the truth). Such testimony likely will lack credibility.
