Get an attorney. I don't know what else anyone can tell you that could help. You can't expect the police or the prosecutor or the judge to just take your word for it. I have seen so many people with criminal convictions because they did it themselves believing that an innocent person could not be convicted. They absolutely can, and often do. If you can't afford an attorney, see if you qualify for a public defender. If you don't qualify, there may be pro bono or reduced fee legal services in your area. You should hire an attorney to help you defend yourself in court. An attorney can help you understand your legal rights, analyze the case, and developy defense strategies for you. Depending on the type of case, you can be convicted simply on one witness' testimony if the prosecutor proves the essential elements of the alleged offense beyond a reasonable doubt in a trial based upon that witness' testimony.
