How can we withdraw a pending asylum application, if green card was provided to me and my family through employer sponsorship?

We came to the U.S. in Apr. 2015 with a B2 visitors visa and we lost status while we were waiting for submit the asylum application. We submit request for asylum in Feb. 2016 then a company took the decision to sponsorship my wife through a Job. In Sept. 2016 we got our temporary work permit through asylum application and we start to work for this company. We never expect that this process through job went this fast, but we got our labor department certificates very soon then forms I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker and I-485 for adjustment of status was submitted and got approved, and then just last week we got our approval notice and green cards. Long story short we no longer need to look for Asylum. What is the right procedure in my case to withdraw the pending asylum process since we got GC and we are settle in the U.S.? My concern is because everything happened when our status in the Job application was always described as Asylum pending. Another point to see is that in the asylum application I was the main applicant and for the Job sponsorship my wife was the main applicant, my wife got a EW8 category GC, EW9 for me and EW0 for my Kids. Thanks!

Congratulation on the green card! Now you only have to withdraw your asylum petition (I-589) from the Asylum Office. Contact your asylum office (probably the New York Asylum Office in Bethpage, NY) and ask for directions to submit the withdrawal request. Make sure to inquire as to which dependents need to submit an individual withdrawal request. Best of luck!
