Is it advisable to contest a speeding ticket in court?

I was pulled over by a state trooper on a city street who stated I was going 50 in a 30. I am positive I was only going 40-45. The ticket is for 200+ dollars and I am worried it will affect my insurance premium.

You bet your insurance premiums will go up by at least 10-15% for the next 3 years, if you don't either contest this ticket in court. Speak with a reputable traffic court attorney in your area.

Yes should contest the ticket. If the trooper fails to appear the case should be dismissed. If the trooper does appear you can have your attorney attempt to negotiate a favorable result. At the very least the fine should be reduced.
