If my ex-wife received a settlement and I have custody of all 3 of the kids does she have to pay me arrears

I've had custody for the past two years. my ex-wife has been in and out of jail and is now suing two different counties and will be receiving a settlement soon. she hasn't paid child support since I've received my kids will she have to pay her arrears for the past two years of child support ? and will that check come to me or will it go to the county for the years of assistance

If she owes you arrears due to a child support order, she owes you arrears. You stated "suing," is there actually an official settlement in place? Regardless, you will need to contact the county to get the money directly. I doubt it is just going to happen, child services may not have any idea about the settlement.
