Can I travel in & out of the US with an extension sticker on my permanent resident card without any problems?

I applied to renew my green card in February, during my biometrics appointment I got an extension sticker placed on it that extends its validity through December 2017. Can I travel out of the country and back in without problem? Will I be let back in or is there a chance that I won't be allowed back into the country?

I don't see any why not nor any problem, unless of course, you are from a predominately Moslem country, but even then you should be readmitted after some additional scrutiny as to where you traveled and why, etc.

During the green card process, you may receive a sticker on your expiring/expired Green Card to extend the validity of the card. You may travel abroad and use this green card to reenter the U.S. You may only use this card until the extension date expires or you receive your new green card, which ever occurs first.

BP may confirm the stamp is valid. Other than a possible short delay you should have no problem.
