I am trying to get my injunction dissolved. Can my driving record be brought up in court?

Hi I am trying to get my injunction dissolved and the petitioner is giving me a really hard time. She has a lawyer fighting it. We have not had any contact in 5 years and live hours away from one another. It is effecting my visitation with my child. The petitioner's lawyer requested a continuance to pull my record from several surrounding counties. Can he use these against me in court? Can I object to them since they are driving without a license offenses and what does that have to do with domestic violence? What are some defenses I can use to get this injunction dissolved? I really need this gone. It is effecting my life in so many ways and especially my visitation with my son. PLEASE HELP ME!!! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand your question. You have not had contact in 5 years and it is affecting your visitation with your child? The forum is no substitute for sound legal representation and advice. You need to hire an attorney.

You can try an object to the driving record as hearsay when presented in court. They would likely need the records custodian to come in to court to state that the records are kept in the ordinary course of business. Good luck!
