What's best way find a highly skilled, competent, professional, and experienced employment attorney that takes Maryland cases?

Many attorneys are incompetent, late, unorganized, and unprofessional. Most clients don't know this until after entering into a retainer. I know the same can be said for clients but I am here trying to figure out how to find an employment attorney that practices with excellence and can handle trial work if necessary...that's a dying breed! I am a highly skilled professional so it's insult to injury in having no other option than to have to work with lackluster attorneys that do nothing unless constantly pushed and probed. I understand that attorneys may have a hard time hearing that many attorneys are worthless but I am not here just for the sake of being negative. I desperately need help in finding a good attorney. I am exhausted and tired of being taken advantage of by attorneys. But, I refuse to give up on this. The worst are referrals to attorneys that you can not attest to their work. Your "friend" may not be as good of an attorney to his/her clients as you think. Please spare me the advice about bad clients. That's not the issue here. Desperately seeking competent, skilled, and professional employment attorney taking Maryland clients. Not interested in mediocre attorneys.

FWIW, you could have asked this in a far less confrontational and self-congratulatory way. This is where I'm supposed to tell you to go to the find a lawyer feature. There is a site called My Employment Lawyer (MEL) you might find helpful. If you, very quietly and unobtrusively, ask court clerks and Human Rights Investigators who is really good. Finally, if you know some HR professionals, don't ask them "Who beats your brains out?" Ask them "Who gets right to the salient points" or "who gets decent, quiet settlements". I know you say you want a case tried but competent trial lawyers get the most decent settlements, Every Good Wish.
