this question is for a friend of mine. he said that US a CPS officer made him sign a paper to promise not to apply for asylum in the US at departure from Dubai . now he is in the US and an attorney told him you can not apply for asylum because you signed that paper. is there such a thing?? is that legal? can he apply for asylum if he sign such a paper .
