Immigration Aos interview

Business 3 views 3 answers
I was wondering if it is a good or bad sign that the Interviewing officer took a picture of me plus did index finger prints during the interview even though I did the biometrics 4 months prior to interview? He didn't give me any letter at the end of the interview, just a paper showing when to remove condition of gc. He also did not mention why he took pictures.

I don't need think it's a bad sign. Maybe something was misplaced during biometrics. Good luck with the decision.

It is a bit 'different' for him to have done a photo & fingerprint ... did he do it in his office, or take you to a 'real' biometrics machine? It is possible that your original biometrics didn't come through ... or that he was just wanting to confirm your identity. Be patient and make sure you registered your 485 receipt number ... their 'status' page is usually inaccurate, but they do send e-mails in 'real time.'

No it doesn't appear like a bad sign unless he indicated otherwise. The biometrics you had previously done may need to have been redone for whatever reason.
