I was charged with shop liftng back in june 2016. Ive already gone to court twice for this. What should i expect to happen?

I took a 5 braclette from a store back in 2016, i didnt leave the store before i was stopped and returned the item to the store manager and even offered to pay for it with my debit card to solve the issue. Since then i have gone to court twice for this situation, and offered pti twice but not able to complete pti due to having not having the money. I have not been in trouble with the law since then. It has been a year since my first court apperiance and im scarred i will be going to jail and loose custody of my child. What should i do?
