My 14yrld has an L2 visa, Can he apply for an EAD?

Well, he is an L2 dependent on me, but if he apply's for an EAD, is he allowed to work (McDonald or Summer Job)? and finally does he need an EAD to work. If with an EAD he is not allowed to work, give me a solution for him to be able to work.

The L-2 dependent child of an L-1 status holder will not be able to obtain an EAD. Only the dependent spouse with the L-2 status is eligible to request the EAD.

He cannot work absent employment authorization, which he cannot obtain as a child L-2. Sorry. Consult experienced immigration counsel for specific guidance.

Sorry, only the spouse of an L-1 ... besides, I think there may be child labor law issues when talking about a young 14 y/o.
