We want to get married in the state of Texas but my fiancée does not have a social security number, I do have one. Can we still get a marriage license?
A social security number is not a prerequisite to a marriage license. Proof of identity probably is needed. Contact your County Clerk's Office for guidance. If your fiancee has a legal status issue, an immigration law counsel may be needed.
